Anybody seen the extended cut?

I'm watching it right now for the first time, I so hope it's better than the theatrical cut. Interesting observation the opening sequence with the storm in the mountains seems like a pretty similar sequence out of the First Blood novel (except it had Rambo killing a bunch of cops instead of saving people)

Just finished watching the extended cut, there's really nothing additional that adds anything to the narrative or Rambo's character.

I just did. It starts with a flooding that has nothing to do with the rest of the movie. The movie is still generic shit.

Adrian Grunberg didn't shoot enough material so when the film was cut it was deemed way too short. It came in about 1h10min. Its was decided to pad the film with a new intro and ending.
