Had to wait until the end of the movie for the funniest bit. [spoiler]

2 hours and 20 minutes with a few smirks and slight chuckles here and there, until Meryl Streep got killed by an alien bird, and it finally initiated a laugh from me.

Yeah I'd say it could have been better.

So why did none of the others run away as former president was being eaten alive? I guess they had no direction to react to a CGI bird? :)

I was too busy being surprised that the film made me laugh right at the end to notice, to be honest.

When the camera zooms out there were many birds besides the one that ate the president so everyone else really had nowhere to go.

The "scientist" said something about the higher content of oxygen and that they might feel high as a result.

That was a dumb thing to say. I've never felt high when on oxygen in the hospital.

Thats because you werent on higher concentration of oxygen. The hospital was just compensating for your lack of oxygen naturally obtained. Higher concentration of oxygen gets you a lightheaded dizzyness, which is what they actually said in the movie (they never used the word high)
