This seems to be the modern trend in certain types of films like Dune, a collage of faces of the primary actors. It's rather dull and unimaginative

Dune.
The Batman.
Spiderman No Way Home.
Rogue One.

And that's just the ones which have been trending.

Yes the art of movie posters is long dead. No creativity anymore.

It's most posters these days. Just photoshopped garbage. The days of Drew Struzan, Bill Gold, Frank McCarthy, Saul Bass, Bob Peak, Tom Jung, and John Alvin are long gone.

Movie studios seem to only be able to use 2 or 3 colors at the most for movie posters now, usually some combination of orange and teal or gray.

I don't about "modern trend." Seems it's been that way for many years now.
