We need an American remake NOW!

This was fresh, cool with high production value and directing.
Great story and execution. Target audience is 13 – 25 years old.
This gave me the same feeling as when I saw Scream in 1996.
9/10

I saw it and I liked it! I don’t see any benefit with rushing an American version into production to capitalize on the success of this film.
If that’s the case I want it more scary and Evil Dead gory with a mid 30s cast! Ie not kids.

The hype is real?

Yes, I liked it!

This is a better movie than any slasher film and an American remake would definately turn out worse.

What stands out in this one despite it being a horror movie with a group of young actors is that the acting is quite good. Most mainstream American ones focus most on how the actors look and how the girls scream, putting acting abilities in second place.

But it is an American movie. It's an A24 movie. A24 is an American independent company. Also, the movie was released in the U.S. and it was filmed in English language. Pretty much all movies getting an American remake were movies not released in the U.S. theatrically, and were not filmed in English. So instead of doing an English dub or forcing American moviegoers to read English subtitles the whole time, they just remake stuff. But Talk To Me is in English and was released in the U.S. Plus it's owned by an American company. So it's an American movie, although the directors are Australian, and maybe so is the cast. I'm not a stalker/creep, and didn't swing by each cast member's IMDB page to know more about them and stuff. I know the directors are Australian because I like Racka Racka (their YouTube channel) and it was brought up in their videos that they are from Australia. Plus a couple movie reviews I watched said something as well. Nothing was ever mentioned about the cast though.

This was shot in a foreign land with foreign actors. Clearly its a foreign, no American, production!
