The Prophet

Did I miss something? Who killed that Gil guy by brainwashing kids, putting mines on them and forcing them to commit su..cide? Its The Prophet who did that, right?

And then we were supposed to root for him like he was some cute confused bad boy? And then he had his happy ending by walking with him mom and other brainwashed kinds into the sunset...

What on earth? That crazy psychopath killed 2 children!!! Good God tv show.

He didn't put mines on them. The girl at the end devised and executed the mine plan on her own.

The one sitting with Kirsten at the airport? Why did she do that?

I read book synopsis and in the book it was way worse. He was strait up rapeest. They toned him down for tv show and gave him redemption path.

Don't bother with the book b/c it's so far from the show in so many ways.

But yes, the girl with the bag of mines who sits with Kirsten at the end. She was actually a rebel in that she wasn't under order from The Prophet. It was her way of erasing the past. "The Undersea" took The Prophet's lead in a way he didn't intend. But all of this was in the dialogue.

ok, thanks.

I don't know ... I guess so. We're supposed to be understanding or something.

I liked some aspects of this show, but stuff like that pretty much terminates it as anything serious I'd give it a 4/10 because it's watchable, and that's the problem, it's like junk food, it's steals something from you.

Killed two children and others as well. I guess that is supposed to slip right by us viewers. Kirsten did the right thing with her summary judgement, she just didn't make sure the job was done.
