This movie might have nice scenes, acting, atmosphere... etc but none of that helps the fact horribly boring and doesn't make any kind of sense. There's nothing that draws you into the movie, no plot, you just don't care what happens. It's one of those movies that are like a piece of modern art that only hardcore modern art critics like. I hate movies like that.
shareI liked the 1977 version better. I agree this one was sorta boring, especially with that stupid subplot with the german read news that came on every 15 minutes or so. It drove me nuts, and every time it came on it said out loud "who cares!" lmao!! If they cut out those parts, and shortened it a bit, then it was ok, but still not as good as the original which had a much more satisfying ending.
