O'Russell imping Tarantino?

I might watch it streaming after it flops in theaters, but Dave O'Russell is a very inconsistent director.

Not really. Most of his movies have been quite good. Not sure if this one is that great though.

I thought it was more like Adam McKay or Martin Scorsese.

I think he has artistically peaked

but let's not insult him by comparing his to "one good movie" tarantino

For real, because all Tarantino does is rip off other films anyway---he's way the hell overrated and always has been. I like Russell's films because they feel real, and not like your average Hollywood flick. I had fun watching this film, and I enjoyed all the crazy s*** that happened in it, and the three leads plus Chris Rock were really fun to watch. One of the better film I've seen this year.
