So this is just like back in the day (pre 2020 streaming wars) when networks ordered a pilot, shot a pilot, aired a pilot, and then yanked it after 3-4 episodes because it wasn’t working. The first season of a show on streaming is just like a network pilot. Will it work? Will the audience show up? If not, then it doesn’t get a second season and at some point it costs more to keep it on the air, having to pay residuals and license fees, then to cancel it.

What did they do, pull it right off the streaming service? Man that's wild.
