If you go into looking for something that takes itself too seriously, you’ll be disappointed. I’ve laughed out loud multiple times in every episode.
The writing kinda reminds me of the writing for Lego games. Just the way they interject something silly in the middle of what you’d expect to be all serious.
I love it!
I felt it was often misplaced humor used when something was supposed to be serious. I did laugh at other scenes, mostly Borman.

shareI liked it, it's an enjoyable bit of fluff, complete piffle! And it came along when I wanted a bit of piffle, I enjoyed seeing them fool around with the cliches and tropes of the Fantasy genre.
I can't say it's been a complete success, in the last episode or two they tried to drop the goofiness and let shit get real, and I can't say it all worked.
