Underworld VI

I actually forgot about Kate until this movie came out...
Okay this movie wasn't it for me, it was really stupid but it energized my hopes for a sixth underworld movie.

If they make a sixth one, I think it should be the final one where she dies "or" she should lose her powers so she can grow old.

The fourth and fifth ones were kinda "not good" but maybe they can archieve something "okay" now. Who knows?

What should be a good title?

"Underworld: Resolution"

Yes, for me this one is a good title.

I highly doubt there will be another Underworld movie, but I at least found Blood Wars to be entertaining.

Underworld 2 was a huge disappointment, 3 was a decent film but just kind of dull, and 4 was simply not a good movie at all.

The first is a genuinely well-made, enjoyable fantasy-action-horror film. Blood Wars is not particular good, but I enjoyed it well enough. The rest I can do without.

The only way I'd want a sixth film is if they went back to basics, came up with a good story, used practical effects and wrapped up the franchise in a truly satisfying way.

She was married to the creator and they separated, so a new movie is not happening

I enjoy the Underworld movies but I can't see another happening. At least not with Beckinsale.

Why's that?

Last I heard she called time on it, and they were going with a TV show set in the same universe but with different characters. Mind you, I haven't heard any more about the TV show!

They have tons of backstory still yet to cover. I want to see the scene when the brand gets cut off of Lucian's arm and all that stuff etc. I don't really enjoy anything past Rise of the Lycans because they didn't do very good future stuff. I'd have liked to have seen everybody revert back to human at the end of part 2 as both Marcus Corvinus and William Corvinus, not to mention their father Alexander (the original immortal) were all slain. Which should've ended the curse for all. And whatever became of the 3rd Corvinus brother, the one destined "to walk the lonely road of mortality as a human"? They focused too much on the made up future stuff and not enough focus went on the mentioned backstories.
