His headline misleads one into thinking Deadpool made more money or sold more tickets than any DCEU film.

well, he is correct. Deadpool didn't cost as much to produce and made more money in the process.

It's like the example of Blair Witch Project. A movie made on a shoestring budget [almost literally] that got millions in revenue [seriously, that movie must have broken all sorts of records to this day].

It would also be correct when applied to almost every movie in the MCU except the Avengers movies.

The lowest was Iron Man 1 at $140 million. So Deadpool blew it out of the water using this criteria as well as every other MCU save a couple.

It would be bad if the movie [whatever it is] costs a lot as ends up not making its money back. As an example: JL.

Or "Universal's Get Out. beats most MCU films".

Deadpool is a huge success story in comic movies in general, almost 800 mil on a 60 mil budget. It profited more than all DCCU films and quite a few of the MCU films.
