shareI don't think it's underrated. It was a half hour too long and ran out of steam in the third act. I saw it in the theaters and there were people at my show walking out in the major showdown, precisely because the film had run its course. Me, I stayed, because I never walk out of movies no matter how bad they get.
The only thing I'll give it props for is that Adam Sandler actually looked attractive for once (yes, I'm a chick) and there was potential in the Zohan character. Unfortunately, because Sandler is so lazy, it never went anywhere.
I agree, it would have benefited from being a tighter run time. I still enjoy it, but it's definitely too long for a movie like this.
