So what happened to the Dothraki after Dany?

So clearly there's still plenty of Dothraki even after fighting the night King, but the only thing keeping them from going full Dothraki and making with the raping and pillaging was Dany.

I call bullshit on the idea that they would just calmly hang around all those weeks that Jon was imprisoned, or that they would have even let him live to begin with. The dothraki don't seem like the due process type. They would have taken his head and gone straight to raiding the nearest westerosi towns.

Maybe they accepted those lame fields that they tried to load off on Greyworm and the Unsullied.

After following Dany to Westeros they've lost all of their positions back home. Then they've lost almost the whole of their 'army'. Their wives and children were turned into slaves almost immediately after this news did reach the slavers. So... the only thing the remaining Dothraki men were left to do is drink themselves to death because of the enormous grief.

Hopefully the remaining tribes became weak enough for the locals to destroy most of them and absorb the rest.
A poisonous culture or raiders and rapists.

This is the sort of thing they'd have addressed in the earlier seasons. I guess they just went through one of the invisible portals that have popped up in the later seasons...like the one that Euron and his ships went through when they took out one of Dany's dragons.
