Is touring with U2 really going to be that exciting?

Where they ever known for being a jam band that might mix up the song list every time they played?
That is what made the Grateful Dead exciting.
You just never knew what they were going to play and how they were going to play it.
I don't think U2 was like that.
Were they?

I had the same thought. This isn't The Dead or Phish where every show is a completely different set list. U2's set list would be nearly identical for the entire tour. They're not really a band people would follow on tour.

Just one more clue who the movie was actually written for (as many posters have noted, this plays out like a divorced dad's fantasy)

To be fair, I once followed the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra for an entire season. It wasn't too difficult because the venue was always the same.
