By that point, Worthington already beat a Kraken and a Titan. Who else could really challenge him?

Yeah, Hercules vs Perseus would be cool to see indeed. As long as it's not the Rock playing Herc lol.

Wish they didn't kill off Zeus, Poseidon and Hades in the sequel. Not interested in a 3rd installment if Perseus does the whole, "i'M gOinG tO do ThIs aS a mAn, nOt a dEMi-gOd" shtick once again.

But there was no chance of a 3rd after the spectacular drop in box office for Wrath, no Neeson/Fiennes, and the increasing worthlessness of Worthington as a leading man

I enjoyed the first film. The second one was quite a disappointment. It's hard to think that the franchise could recover and turn in a GOOD third installment after the sequel.
