Yes, the odds of a "woke" theme are good, as if you hadnt noticed, this film here had a very "woke" pro-native anti-corporate theme.

shareFor some people at least, having a white Male military ead just might have made the shallow woke-ness of the story easier to take.
As for a female lead, there's nothing I'd like better than to see the last of that stupid grunt and see Sigourney Weaver given the main role. That would be AWESOME!! She is a sci-fi ICON!! But the fact is that Hollywood's wokeness is even shallower than "Avatar"s, and the suits who run the studios cannot conceive of a woman her age being given the lead in a big-budget tentpole film. Plus her character is, if you want to be picky, dead.
