How did the editors miss that?

Machine was spelled wrong in the title. You'd think that would be the first thing they noticed.

I am sure your entire post is just a 'clever joke' to lure in people's reactions - akin to 'trolling of fish', but instead of fish, you want comments, reactions, provoked responses and so on.

I think the name is wrong for different reasons - 'Deus Ex Machina' is a VERY well-established name trope, which probably comes from some Greek stage plays, where ACTUAL 'machinery' was lowered to save the hero suddenly.

I think it's latin, meaning 'God from Machine' or something like that ('A God from a machine', 'God from the Machine', whatever).

In modern times, it usually refers to something implausible resolving a corner the author of the story wrote themselves in, and couldn't think of an organic way to get themselves (or the hero) out of.

However, removing the 'Deus' (God) from the name, now it just means 'From Machine'. What the heck is that supposed to mean? I don't know, but THAT would've been a valid criticisms, not pretending to mistake latin for english and then pointing out the erroneous spelling.

Of course an english name like 'Ex-Machine' wouldn't really make much sense, either, as nothing 'evolved beyond a machine' in this story. Not that it's possible for a machine to 'evolve' into 'human', for example, but that's something this planet's pityfully simple-minded moronic half-animals don't seem to be ready to understand quite yet.

lol it was a dumb joke that would be surprising if it got any reaction at all. Most of my posts are just stupid thoughts that I post when bored at work for some mild amusement. I can't imagine they would inflame or agitate anyone if people even bother to read them.

Dang you must have had some time on your hands when you made this response to obvious tongue in cheek nonsense.
