Hilary Swank just isn't pretty enough...

As an actress I do like Hilary, I think she deserved her Oscars for Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don't Cry, but when I see her in a movie like this, she just seems so unfitting. I think that an actress like Jennifer Garner would have been a better fit.

I totally agree with you. That one scene when Harry Connick told her she was beautiful, seriously?. They should have given this to Rachel McAdams or the actress who played the sister in Shame. Sorry, Her ner name escapes me at the moment.

Not everything is about looks. You are shallow and rude. Who cares what she looks like. She is pretty anyway.

Only pretty women can play women who are loved and dedicated to their husbands? I think she did a great job, and I liked the character she played.

I think Hillary's looks are just fine. She is an attractive women and her smile is warm. Great for this part! She is charming.

I agree that she's not very pretty. The toothy smile is a bit too much.

She is one of my favorite actresses, though, because, unlike Jennifer, she can act. And she does have a killer body, better than most actresses. Check out the sexy dance she does in the Karaoke scene, with her skirt slung low over her hips, showing her flat belly; and the boobs, which are just about perfect, and those lustrous legs.
