Well yeah I agree! Tobey STILL should be Spider-Man! I think he should be the one in the MCU right now cause this NEW Spider-Man now seems kinda WEAK!

Spider-Man 4: The Lizard
-Since Peter and Mary Jane's moment was ambiguous at the end, we can say they're not together anymore.
Spider-Man 5: Vulture
-Peter goes out with Betty
-Things get complicated when Jameson finds out Peter is Spider-Man
Spider-Man 6: Carnage
-Significant time jump after the 5, with Peter around 40 years old
-Peter dies at the end

I still want them to make Spider-Man 4. This trilogy never felt complete. There was clearly supposed to be at least one more installment. They hint at the Lizard coming throughout the whole thing. Him with Vulture, which Raimi was keen to do, would have been epic. They may as well have thrown Kraven in there and just went way over the top. The series needed to end with Peter having his life fully sorted, settled in, and bam, MJ's preggers. The end.

Just recently re-watched this trilogy and yes, I feel the same way. I wish they would have done at least one or two more films. At least one to redeem themselves from how bad Spider 3 was. I was a fan of the Garfield films for the most part, although I think ASM 2 suffers from a terrible villain. Overall I feel that they should have done at least one more entry in this series. They could even have kept the additional entry or entries separate from the MCU and that would have worked just fine.

Not after this movie. Making Sand Man Uncle Ben's killer sucks and so does Venom getting blown to smithereens after only 10 minutes of screentime.
