Wouldn't they wonder why the corpse wasn't smelling?

In a bathroom like that with a dead guy on the floor, you would think the room would smell HORRIBLE. Why didn't Gordon (the doctor) wonder why the corpse wasn't smelling if it was a corpse?

reply

Corpse's probably take some time before decay starts? I don't think it would smell if it was fresh dead body

reply

Interesting thought. Perhaps they assumed it was too fresh, they may have assumed they were used to the smell, or they were too involved with the situation to even think about it.

reply

Yeah I also assumed that they thought it was a fresh body

reply

The blood wasn't even dry. Wouldn't start to smell yet.

Plus the place probably smelled bad anyway.

reply

No, because the blood around the body was very fresh. They assumed the person there had just died. They had just been placed in the room too and were not there long enough for the body to start to smell.
