It's a good movie, or at least, one I enjoyed. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.

I still watch this one from time to time, and I still fondly remember when I saw it opening weekend. What a wonderful movie. In Roger Ebert's words, "It's like a film that escaped from the imagination directly onto the screen, without having to pass through reality along the way." To this day it's astonishing that Kerry Conran has not done another feature. Not only has the effects technology improved, but something on this level can likely be make on a much lower budget.

Sorely underappreciated and ahead of its time given how much CGI simply dominates action filmmaking these days.
