Talk about a charisma vacuum, which is strange because he's not this uncharismatic in real life. It's like the director instructed him to be as bland and monotonous as possible.

Bland and monotonous? He was ridiculous, almost to the point of camp. He plays a hilariously awkward villain here.

It was soooooooo disappointing as I adore Timothy and I love Die Hard. Terrible all the way around. ☹️☹️☹️☹️

I always got the sense his character was supposed to be "not a baddie" - eg, clean shaven, not in the shadows, not dirty, etc
