How did this bomb so badly?
It's not like it was sandwiched between two Marvel movies or something.
shareIt is not a very good movie but neither is it terrible. I'm fond of it. Guilty pleasure, I guess. Would have loved more Dirk movies.
shareYeah, some of the books are really great. I think this movie came out at the end of the Adventure Film era that was oversaturated. The mummy, national treasure, day after tomorrow, pirates of the Caribbean...just a lot of running and chasing in all of those.
