No blu ray!?

No blu ray... Still...

I want to see it in all of it's anamorphic wide screen glory... I want to hear the full, uncompressed soundtrack... I want turn on my projector and bath in Solaris's light...

I can't believe there isn't a blu ray for this... I guess at this rate we'll have to wait for a 4k/UHD stream on Netflix or something instead... Maybe an ultra hd blu ray release?!

There is a version of it on Apple TV... Looks and sounds good.

I think that is going start happening more and more- skipping a blu ray release in favor of digital.

Unfortunately it's locked to Region B. I've thought about getting a region-free blu-ray player as certain movies only get European BD releases for some reason. I may have to go for that soon.

Yeah, here it is five years later and still no blu-ray. Sure, it wasn't a big hit. But much worse movies than this have been released on blu-ray. It would be great to be able to see those cool sci-fi visuals in high definition with better color timing than the DVD.

Its a solid sci fi thriller. Cant you convert these region formats somehow? What about a digital copy that could be transferred to a bluray? Idk just throwing things out but it is surprising that its not out yet on blu, its a George Clooney vehicle after all.
