Apparently Uber-Morlocks passed on British English, while the Eloi passed on American English

Throughout these 800,000 years Uber-Morlocks were like: "Let's not pass on the knowledge of American English, that's what those losers Eloi use, we'll make an effort to specifically keep the knowledge of British English, even hundreds of thousands of years into the future."

I don't know about make the best villains, maybe we don't piss and moan about it like other countries do. Like the Germans, Japanese and Russians.

I'm not sure if this is the actual reason but I believe the Uber-Morlock read Alexander's mind and adopted the form of English he used in order to communicate with him. Remember during the fight he stopped speaking and growls and snarls like the other Morlocks.
