THE WORST MOVIE I SAW IN MY WHOLE LIFE

this is the worst movie i saw, it was the only movie that was bad enough to me to leave the theatre. cast is horrible, everyone at their low, direction is the worst i saw in years (c'mon, friday the 13th and its sequels were better directed). the plot is totally embarrasing, and the one that came up with this idea should be shot in a public area (obviously this is a joke). the next 4 worst movies don't even compare to this one in terms of a bad movie. Spiderman, Ocean's eleven, Dude, wheres my car, and Good burger are masterpieces compared to this crap. i really hate julia roberts, but i usually like brad pitt's acting (he was very good in se7en and in 12 Monkeys), but in this movie they truly suck. james gandolfini is a very good actor, how he got into this is beyond my knowledge. and not even one funny joke, i got bored in the first 5 minutes. i'm usually against banning, but this movie should be burned and it should dissapear. never to be found again

I have to say that I really liked it. It's been a while since I've seen it, so my familiarity with details is a little muddy, but I enjoyed the actors. I thought Brad Pitt was really in his element, and he is not usually one of my favorites. I liked Julia Roberts as well. I will say that the BEST part of the film was James Gandolfini. What a fun character!

Wow... A thread started three years ago is still kickin'. Anyhoo...

I gotta say, The Mexican was a pleasant surprise. I was thoroughly entertained. It's a comic-adventure in the vein of say Tarantino's films but it's a bit more subtle in the "wildness" department. What's intriguing to me is that, at the heart of it all, this is ultimately a romance (sans the melodrama, thank goodness). Because it doesn't take itself too seriously, you're hardly ever moved by the romance. But love is in plain site, through the journeys of our main characters. They're not really good at relationships; they just don't seem to get along like they should when they're together. But their experiences apart from each other gives them both a profound insight into love. The fun comes from the road to this discovery and how it all transpires. It's wacky but not too over-the-top, and has a subtle touch of emotional substance. Not bad at all, I thought. Can't be any worse than Uwe Boll's films...

I did watch the whole movie and I thought it was aweful too. Brad Pitt didn't even want to do it so that is probably why his acting was at an all time low in it. Really was a waste of my time.

Not that I think Brad Pitt is all that great anyway, but all time low is pretty harsh...I can think of some worse ones...Troy for example

I'm so proud i think i'm going to cry :p

Well, i have to say that over the years i have watched plenty of movies and i found many that were even worse than The Mexican, so now it's not really the worst movie i saw in my life :)

I didn't watch the whole movie (went out for a smoke about halfway through, got locked out and had to wait till a show let out to get back in), I missed about 30-45 minutes of it. So, I can't say that it was awful. All I can say is that I am glad I didn't pay for my ticket. I made it back to my seat and asked what I had missed. I was told "Nothing." How can nothing happen in any movie for 45 minutes? Well, now I know.

You actually started an IMDB account in 2003 just to whine about this movie for four years, and that's it?
If you got bored the first five minutes, I'd say you probably ought to see a doctor, they can treat that. It's called ADD. Stick to those Vin Diesel movies and anime, you'll be much happier.
