Brendan Fraser

He’s slowly making a comeback after a brutal divorce and the death of his mother nearly ruined him. The first 2 Mummy movies were stellar. 3rd one was alright. The Tom Cruise one was utter crap. Fraser’s star would would have to shine brighter again before they would dare try to thrust him back into this role for another installment. But I hope it happens. Just not likely.

what is he? like 60 by now,
he'd have to grow some dope Mel Gibson facial hair to make a gritty & acclaimed comeback

FRASER WITH A GREY BEARD COULD BE COOL.

So much . . . mixed feelings on this post.

First off, the first Mummy was stellar. It was fantastic. One of my my favorite movies of all time. The second however was a very disappointing follow-up, as was the third.

The Tom Cruise movie, on the other hand, was not "utter crap." It actually was a solid action-horror film. It's nowhere near as good as The Mummy '98 but it's a pretty entertaining movie in its own right, and underrated.

As for Fraser, he's great, but he's old now and apparently he's in bad shape physically. I'd love to see him in another Mummy--he IS Rick O'Connell!--but I really doubt it will happen.

He’s like 50. They could easily get him into good shape with PEDs and financial incentive.

I think his physical issues go beyond normal 50-year-old stuff. I know he has serious back problems in particular.
