One of the best movies i've ever seen

Imo this movie is timeless and one that reminds you why you like movies so much. Funny enough there's several other movies from around that time that I feel that way about too like The Matrix, Fight Club, Three Kings, Go, Traffic, and Snatch.

I wanna get the Blu ray now.

Agreed. So good and watchable. Actually it's almost a must.

It's such a unique movie. In my opinion Chris Nolan (and brother's) best effort by a huge margin.

I agree but most people would like to crucify you for such an opinion! )

Yeah... It's a solid movie as it works as an interesting thriller and has the compelling time structure that not only works as a way to build tension, but also it allows to explore the philosophical aspects of the movie...

For example, the whole idea of the importance of the narratives that we create for ourselves in giving us identity and purpose... The protagonist is unable to form new memories and is therefore is not only trapped in the past, but also is unable to give purpose to his life apart from the narrative he tells himself about his past
and his ability rewrite his own history to give his life purpose, which in fact, he ends up doing
And these concepts enrich the movie, because they help with characterisation, motivations and such, as well as compelling us to reflect on how we process our own memories and create the narratives that propel our lives...

Solid movie

One of the best theater experiences I ever had. Didn't know who the director was, didn't know the main actor, didn't know the premise. It was literally just some movie my friend dragged me to. Blew my damn mind.

They were cranking out such amazing movies back then. That late 90s, early 00s was a real golden age of edgy cinema. I swear it's cuz there was still a lot of money in video rentals so they took chances on crazier films.
