Was the inclusion of female Jedi on the battle of Geonosis considered progressive at the time the movie was released since there had not been a female Jedi on screen before this film?

shareLucas has always been progressive with his films. Having the female Jedi in earlier stories was not about inclusion. It was showing what life was like for all Jedi before they were all nearly wiped out.
