Probably the worst movie ever made

Have you seen this movie recently? I know that when you see it in theaters when you're younger you can suspend your disbelief and take it seriously. But watch it again on TBS. It's horrible. So many summersaults, doves, motorcycles, Tom Cruise flashing Blue Steel, explosions... I mean wow. It's the most self-gratifying movie production ever. And I like John Woo. The Killer and Hard-Boiled are great movies. But this is just unbelievable.

Mission: Impossible 3 (2006)
Director John Woo was in hot demand when he took the reigns of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise from Brian De Palma in 2000. Though the sequel was a commercial success, Woo’s over-reliance on slow-motion imagery and operatic emotion left critics and fans unsure whether or not they were watching a satire. It took five years before Paramount handed “Mission: Impossible 3” to J.J. Abrams, who had yet to direct a theatrical feature. The result was a major course correction in terms of narrative and focus that neatly pointed a way forward for the high-tech spy series.

I was going to start a new thread, but no need. This film is easily the WORST action movie ever made, so glad I didn't waste popcorn to see it. Every minute, every aspect even down to the bad guy getting up in the final fight scene after being beaten up for over an hour and WOW, he has a gun! If I could give this negative stars I would. Whoosh.

- Just adding my .02 :)

When someone calls a movie "worst movie ever made", all credibility goes out the window. There are literally hundreds of people throwing this title around on here, without thinking what it actually means. Just yesterday I saw another person call a different movie "worst movie ever made". Why don't we just stick to saying, "I don't like it" instead of trying to make our opinions seem so overly dramatic?

M:I 2 is a lot better than the crap that's coming out now.

Mission: Impossible 2 is kind of like the Rambo: First Blood Part II of its time. It's an action movie sequel that you would think at first glance is a parody, but it really isn't. Everything you see it played straight and supposed to be taken seriously.
