Have you seen this movie recently? I know that when you see it in theaters when you're younger you can suspend your disbelief and take it seriously. But watch it again on TBS. It's horrible. So many summersaults, doves, motorcycles, Tom Cruise flashing Blue Steel, explosions... I mean wow. It's the most self-gratifying movie production ever. And I like John Woo. The Killer and Hard-Boiled are great movies. But this is just unbelievable.

I watched it for the first time they other day. It was so bad I thought I might enjoy it for the comedy of it, but by the end I couldn't even laugh. It was painfully stupid and insulting to the audience. Lol at the "blue steel" thing :)

Movies this idiotic make me lose all hope for humanity. At least incompetent duds like Plan 9 From Outer Space are charming. This film is as much fun as a knitting needle through the eye.

shareI wouldn't go as far as saying as the worst movie ever made (it has a couple of good moments). But it's on my top ten for sure.
In fact, I despised MI2 so much I was set on never seeing another MI / Tom Cruise film. It took the 93% of Ghost Protocol on RT to convince to give the series another chance. It was to me what the Prequels were to the fans of SW.
