One of the worst films I've ever seen and the worst trilogy ever made
I have no idea how anyone could get obsessed with this let alone millions of people, it was quite pathetic.
shareWell all things considered Jackson probably did better than could have been expected. He was restricted by location, smallish budgets by epic film standards and limited casting availability. Having said that I think Jackson is a bit of a hack as a Director and the films reflect that. They are a good effort and they have their moments but overall they are less than might have been hoped for.
The FotR is damn near perfect movie.
Up there with The Godfather.
You can argue about the sequels but shush about the first one.
