Pamela’s attractiveness pre-Ivy
Did the chemicals transform Pamela physically and sexually into how she appears as Poison Ivy, or was she always hot but just never expressed her sexuality before her transformation into Poison Ivy?

The lighting in that lab was awful, but what little anyone could see in the pre-Ivy scenes suggests that Dr. Eisley was a sweaty nerd with no fashion sense, sexual vibes, or people skills whatsoever. She probably had that body all along, but never showed it off or realized its potential because she was too busy with her studies and focusing on plant chemistry research.
It's interesting that they would portray her pre-Ivy self as someone with morals of any kind, considering in the original comics, Pamela was always a misanthrope to begin with, hating humanity almost as much as she loved plants. I'm guessing her transformation caused her to lose any sense of morality and she just plain let go.

I know some girls who although they enter puberty in their teens, they did not really develop sexually until their 20s. Maybe the chemicals affect Pamela’s hormone levels allowing her to sexually awaken and increase her sex drive.
Correct, before she was a poorly dressed nerd, with an amazing figure that nobody ever saw. And no sexual vibes, and absolutely no attempt to please anyone, straight men or otherwise.
This movie is utter crap, but I always liked Thurmsn's performance. From genuinely annoying nerd, to genuine camp goddess!
