Pokes fun at everyone and everything.

This film spares no one. The media is mocked, as is the military. The US President is obsessed with TV ratings, and his wife cares only about her public image. The alien invaders are portrayed as destructive vandals who also have a mischievous side. The scientist who is assigned to advise the President is an idiot who misreads the Martian invaders completely. The film even sends up the moment when the President makes a lofty speech that we would usually be moved by, such as in Independence Day. No such luck here!

Yes, it's a comedy, you're not supposed to take it seriously. I'm mean how could anyone believe a USA President would be more concerned about TV ratings than anything else?

Loved this wacky movie. TEN/TEN TEN/TEN TEN/TEN
Ack Ack AckAck

Christina Applegate is godly in this flick but you will have to think fast and rewind a few times to see her because she is barely in it.

PS. It's FREE on YouTube Movies right now.

The problem is that it isn't a very good movie. It's not funny or entertaining and wastes a really good cast.

And yet, it's never funny.

I just watched it again, it's free on youtube. Not a laugh in it, just a lot of ham actors and weirdness. I mean, nobody likes weirdness more than me, but it wasn't GOOD weirdness!
