Anyone else find Eady’s hair kinda funny? She looks like a big slug. Check her out when she leaning over the balcony with Neil looking at his ‘iridescent algae’ city lights.

Eady needed less hair, and straighter, the slug look isn’t good. Conversely, Justine needed more hair with a little bit of bounce, it was kinda short and tight, like Seagal.

Chris had the right idea with Charlene, she was clean and fresh with a nice 90’s blonde look. Only problem there is that Ashley Judd always reminds me of a less talented and less good looking version of Charlize Theron.

I’d pork all of them mind. Can’t say the same for all the other cops and robbers and their women, Mann gave them all munters.

In my opinion Eady’s look was perfect. She wasn’t supposed to be overtly sexy, as that isn’t what Neil wanted or needed. He wanted a connection with someone genuine and it was Eady’s girl next door vibe, accompanied with her heart on sleeve vulnerability that attracted to Neil to begin with.

haha Edie always bugged me i never knew why, she's not ugly at all but i never found her attractive. De Niro is a hard one to cast for romance wise because he's not really that type and doesn't play that very well so they gave him a good looking dork to work with in this because it was probably the best they could come up with.

I have always had a thing for Ashley Judd yeah she may not be as talented as Theron and arguably not as hot but she's still smoking to me a poor mans Charlize Theron is still better than 90 percent

I don't associate slugs with curly hair. Charlene looked and acted dirty (Slag), and when it was revealed that she was indeed a hooker, it lowered my opinion of Chris, especially since he ended up surviving, but the rest of the crew perished. Here's a guy who doesn't respect money or himself, and needs Neil to clean up after himself. Pathetic .

Charlene wasn’t a hooker, she was fed up with Chris as well as the lifestyle, which she makes note of numerous times and was looking to move on with someone else or simply a way out, and fucking someone else is one way of checking both boxes.

Might have been in the book but it wasn't played that way or implied in the film.

I thought they had a fucked up relationship and she was a massive Cunt but deep down she loved him hence why she gives him the sign

Was this before, during or after the timeline presented in Heat?
It seems odd that Neil would allow or work with anyone who was involved with someone with so many loose ends, he even makes a point to ask Chris, “…does she have anyone else on the side?”
Implying that it matters, also, he was furious that Charlene was cheating on chris, not because she was cheating but that it invited an unknown variable.
I’ll have to check out the novel, Heat 2, sounds intriguing and I by that she was before she met Chris, maybe that’s how they met, or after for that matter.
Without spoiling anything, do you recommend Heat 2?

She was a Vegas escort when she met Chris. Yes, I like the book. Its a mix of Miami Vice, Blackhat & Heat.

It’s not the texture of her hair that’s slug-like, it’s the shape. A big slug with Breneman’s face.
