Seven Was Held Together by Wires and Glue

Had her Borg implants failed, she would have regressed to the child she was at assimilation. She would have screamed maniacally, curled up into a foetal position and rocked back and forth begging for her mommy.

The Seven of Nine we know and love was an amalgamation of cybernetic technology and perceived social norms. Without the Borg implants, she's a terrified vegetable.

"Without the Borg implants, she's a terrified vegetable."

You say that like it's a terrible thing.

It gives me the kinks.

reply

I am in awe of this reply, wrong on so many levels its almost a work of art.

reply

Did we ever see her as a terrified vegetable in the series?

reply

Actually, she was held together by corsetry and padding.

reply

Don't agree. She still grew up as a Borg and retains those memories. Why would she regress back to a child rather than her natural age?

reply

She did have a tough time after being separated from the collective. It was an ongoing storyline.
