That seems like a wild overreaction. It's not bad: it's a solidly good movie, 7/10. I do agree that it's concerning that it is held up as the greatest of all time.

Objectively bad, or just not to your taste? I think Captain America is a terrible film, objectively, but a lot of people disagree with me so I can only put it down to my taste.

Your opinion is obviously in the minority, so you should probably keep said opinion to yourself, because it's obviously not accurate based on majority thinking.

I hate both Star Wars and Star Trek, but I realize and respect that my opinion is in the minority. I don't go around calling them "bad"; I just say that I don't like them.

You cannot call a majority-ruled "good" movie a BAD movie; just say you didn't like it, or as the caller above said, justify what makes it so bad. Bad acting, bad script, bad direction? In what ways?

Personally I think it's a great movie but it has a lot similarities to other prison movies. The IMDB rating of 9.3 is fair though. The story more than makes up for any shortcomings.

Fair enough - you are entitled to your opinion. I happen to disagree. I think it's a great movie.
