Did anybody feel sorry for the guy who was begging outside of the phone booth?

I didn't because he was being rude, whiny and disrespectful towards Mental while Mental was on the phone, I was so glad Mental punched the dude in the face, this guy was lucky Mental didn't punch him the first time he started pestering him.

reply

Even if he never said a word, he just has a really punchable face. I don't feel sorry for him.

reply

I totally agree with you this guy has a really punchable face and I was happy to see Mental punch him, I'm surprised he didn't go ballistic when he was looking in the direction of Mental's girlfriend brandishing a gun inside of their vehicle.

He did say one thing funny to me. After Mental turned his back on him, the guy started saying how he was really getting mad and then said something along the lines of "I almost like it". That made me laugh.

reply

I don't get why he would say "I almost like it" after he claims he's getting really mad, he strikes me as someone who takes being disrespect as part of his ego boost, I also thought it was funny when he says "do you hear a concept of other people" despite him not thinking of others himself.

reply

"Get off the phooone".

reply

"This is where it all ends, at a phone booth."

reply

I don't think he was supposed to be sympathetic. He was meant to be annoying.

reply

Exactly, and he does it perfectly. This is why no one feel sorry for him.
Another funny little scene in this amazing movie.
