How is Wayne actually going to pay for Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, and Van Halen?

Jim Morrison said "if you book them, they will come" as though he's just saying that it means they’ll play for free.

I think it's meant to be a joke that they do so many shows and have no idea what's going on that they will just show up and play anywhere they are booked. It works out in their favor 99% of the time because they are booked at places that are paying them.

Those bands are so touched by Wayne's and Garth's sincerity and devotion that they're going to play for free, out of the goodness of their hearts.
