I plan to watch this after work. I work 8am to 4:30pm.

do they celebrate g-day in other countries?

I'm not sure. I'm an American.

The first official Groundhog Day celebration took place on February 2, 1887, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The annual ritual has roots in pre-Christian traditions and was brought to the U.S. by German immigrants.

Happy Groundhog Day! I plan to watch it on AMC also tonight (probably after watching the Ohio State/Iowa Men's Basketball game this evening...I fully expect OSU to lose again).
