Yeah. Season 5 was when it lost a little magic. The show had more charm when they were young and under constant supervision from their parents and Feeny. After high school, they were too much on their own.

The show peaked during the Jonathan Turner years, which would be seasons 2-4.

I agree somewhat. I remember back when it was in those last few season, both me and my older sister agreed the show had turned into a soap opera. With Topanga and Cory getting married against their parents' will and all the drama between Shawn and his girlfriend.
