IFC is apparently censoring movies now.

This is on IFC, and they cut it to shreds. Not happy.

reply

IFC sucks. Boring middle-age hipsters desperately trying to look edgy.

reply

I mean most cable stations cut films, i.e. curse words, nudity, etc. The only exceptions are the pay stations: HBO, etc. Yes, it sucks that they fear the people who pretend to be offended well into the 3rd Millenium!

reply

What part did they remove?

reply

The swearing, violence, the Miggs incident, and the Goodbye Horses bit.

reply

The violence? So Clarice never shown taking out Buffalo Bill?

reply

They show it, but they shorten the shot of his body after he dies.

reply

Hmm that’s strange. They seem to pride themselves on not editing for time or content. I watched it recently (maybe another network) and I don’t recall the Miggs part being cut out.

reply

I thought they were always advertising they never did that. LOL

reply

I never watch a movie on tv because of this
