Kevin wasn't a psychopath
He was just defending his house. He couldn't call the police because he had accidentally stolen the toothbrush

Oh right, because the police were using all their resources to catch a minor who stole a toothbrush rather than the wet bandits.

Hahahaha.... really? Or you hopefully joking?
That was Kevin's way of thinking on it. When I was 10 years old I had a sister pretend to call the cops on me to get me to clean my room since I kept telling her I wouldn't. Because I didn't know the rules for policemen I actually thought the police could put me in jail for not cleaning my room. So I rode off on my bicycle. I came back eventually. My parents were back home then and grounded me from everything I liked to do for a week for not doing what my sister said. Point is little kids don't know what adults know.
shareExactly.
shareNO I am not joking. He was afraid that he would go to jail. And in his 8 year old mind he felt that he would go to jail for that. That's why he disguised his voice when he called the cops.
