"Somebody pick up, PICK UP!"

Only Catherine Hara has the ability to say that line and make it hilarious! The way she screams "PICK UP!" was priceless!

Her entitlement was strong. Stealing a phone off a French lady in France? Entitlement.

Seriously? If I had a kid that was left behind and I was in another country, I doubt I'd think very much on courteous because I'd be too damned worried about my child.

I also like the scene where a chocolate coating of a donut spills on the phone.

Keep in mind, the McAllister's are from Chicago, correct? This might be passing judgement but I hear people from that city are not known for manners. If the donut scene was from one of the cops or authority figures that makes it even more priceless.

I have heard stories about people in cities like Chicago & New York are very rude and unfriendly towards others, I don't think I could handle living in those cities.

reply

I knew someone who used to live in Chicago and she did not like it there due to so many rude people, I also hear they have one of the worst airports in the country

reply

One would think with a city such as Chicago, with its multi-generational communities, there would be more friendliness to people in general. Perhaps it's simply a place where people come and go all the time, and the locals just don't take notice anymore; just a thought. I could be wrong.

I assume you don’t have children. Mothers can turn into a mad momma bear quickly. It’s call natural instinct.

reply

I don't have children at all, I'm not even married.

I still thought it was funny how the police in Chicago nicknamed her "Hyper" when doing the useless transfer back and forth thing.
