Harrison Ford would've been good but it might've been a little too obvious. After watching "The Specialist" me and a co-worker think Stallone would've been perfect for Tracy and to seem up against Pacino would've been the ultimate showdown. Thoughts, anyone

As a side note, Nimoy would've been a better actor for the role of fletcher than Dick Van Dyke

Ford, I would go with, Stallone, IDK, other interesting choices are Richard Gere, Mel Gibson, Kurt Russell, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Campbell (crazy casting) or Ray Liotta. Beatty was a fan of the comic strips growing up and nabs everything rights wise and still manages to keep them

Ford can't do accents though.
