Does anyone else remember being a kid and never being able to find The Blank action figure? I remember my parents searching high and dry for it because that was the only one I didn't have. Then I found out years later that the figurine was never put on the market because it had Madonna under the mask, and it gave away the surprise ending.

i lived in canada and i never manage to get a the blank action figure. it was always missing in store. i remember going to a store far away with my parents in case and no.
I also searched for The Blank figure as a kid. I had all the other figures plus one of the cars (I believe it was the gangster's car).
I remember starting my collection with The Brow. I was on my way to see the movie and my parents let me buy one of the toys first. I chose The Brow and was a little disappointed when he was killed off in the opening scene, lol.
I also remember the controversy over Steve the Tramp. As I recall he was the figure I saw the most and even after they pulled him off the shelves, i'd still see him from time to time.

Wow! I never would have guessed this film spawned such fandom. I thought it sucked, and IIRC the critics hated it too. But apparently it made more than $100 million on a $47 million budget. The color schemes were kind of cool.
