Back To The Future 4 Possibilities Get A Brutal Response From Franchise Co-Creator

Back to the Future 4's chances receive a brutally honest blow from one of the beloved franchise's co-writers and co-creators, Bob Gale.

People say, "Why don’t you guys do Back to the Future Part 4?" When they say that, they’re saying, "I want something that makes me feel as good as the original did." That’s what this is. That’s the feeling you’re going to get here when you see this show. There’s no need to go back to that well. You’ve seen too many people go back too many times. As I’ve said many times, the characters in Back to the Future are my family, my children. You don’t sell your kids into prostitution.

reply

They’re never doing a remake or sequel. Anyone who ever says they will is delusional.

Exactly!

A BTTF4 released in 2015 would be pretty cool if MJF didn't have Parkinson's. It could be about middle aged Marty being reunited with his younger self. Lots of themes about getting older, coming to terms with age and/or regret. I think it could've been excellent and I'm willing to bet it could've happened if MJF was healthy.

Good. A remake, reboot or sequel would flop. Besides, there is the video game it can count as a fourth BttF.

Also as a fifth. Episode 4 would be the plot set in the 1920s and episode 5 the one set in the alternate present ruled by Doc. Also, there is a cartoon if i remember correctly? By the way with AI episode 4 and 5 could become "live action" one day.

He is based and clearly anti-wokeism but i think that when he will pass to other life (i wish this to happen in many many many many years from now, just to be clear) maybe his kids are allowed to sell the rights to make some money. He just doesnt want to watch another movie as long as he is alive.
