He should have meet with the Phantom of the Opera, Erik would joke to Zorro about wearing masks when he has no ugly face to hide. I think they would get along wonderfully.

LOL That would've been funny, I agree. As far as the Three Musketeers episode, I've always thought that episode was a failed pilot for a TV series about those Musketeers by the same company that produced Zorro back then. Obviously that series never made it into production past that episode...unless it did? Still it made for an interesting episode arc on Zorro, nonetheless. lol

It was an interesting idea altough the 3 musketeeers existed like a century before. But its funny how characters like the musketeers,Zorro,Tarzan were basically the first superheroes of the story (probably Hercules comes first though)

A tv show about the Three Musketeers obviously has potential, but it was a dumb idea to have Zorro be a part of it.

It's called a back door pilot. They happen all the time.

The Andy Griffith Show was an early one. It was an episode of the Danny Thomas Show.

All in the Family spawned The Jeffersons, which makes more sense.

When I read the synopsis of the two part episode, I understood these were the great-great grandchildren of the Musketeers

Hmm, I didn't remember that. But what's the point if they're not even the real Musketeers? In Zorro's time there wasn't even a royal guard anymore.

If I understood, they became protectors of their village who also had a corrupt mayor/alcalde.

Also great-great grandsons having the same names was a stretch, too.

I just remember the episode being very cringeworthy. Bad acting, bad writing, not one person with a bit of charisma. No wonder nothing came of it.🤷‍♀️
