My favorite thing about this movie

It's so hard to choose, but I guess I have to go thematic and say it is the absolute ambiguity the film leaves you at the end. There is no answer to the question: was he a crazy man who thought he was a vampire, or was he a vampire who thought he was a crazy man?

(I realize some people feel they have found an answer to the question, to which I salute them for that, but for me, having seen the film a number of times, I have to say, there is no answer. And I like that.)

What evidence do you have of him being a vampire?

Your question makes it sound like you don't understand the nature of ambiguity.

Your post made it sound like you were just making up shit to sound intelligent. But I figured I'd give you the benefit of the doubt and ask.

And now your reply confirms. You, personally, have no reason to consider why he is a vampire who thought he was a crazy man, but you just like the idea of thinking so. Maybe you read someone else's idea of it but didn't think it through yourself.

I find your argument preposterous. If you do not cease harassing me, I shall ignore you!

This last reply here reads like a Monty Python skit! 😀

reply

except it wasn't ambiguous.
