Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Last Great Movie In The Series?

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was the end of an era. It marked the last Indiana Jones movie of the eighties, with the fedora wearing archeologist only returning to the big screen seventeen years later, by which time a lot had changed. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade teams Harrison Ford's Indiana with his greatest sidekick - his own father Henry Jones Sr. played by the great Sean Connery. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas consider this a lot better than Temple of Doom. Do you agree?

I consider Indiana Jones a trilogy after seeing Crystal Skull. I haven't seen the last one yet so my personal opinion may change.

I doubt you’ll change your mind, but if you haven’t already I encourage you to find a good fan edit of Crystal Skull. There are a couple out there that at least salvage the movie.

Last Great Movie. Period.

reply

Yes, the last two are not terrible but " the last crusade " is another level.
